Story Behind the Song
It was my first live gig with the band. We were into our last set, when a guy from the crowd kept bugging us to play another slow song. We had already played all our slow stuff so I thought we should add one more to our play list.

The evenings almost over.
You said yes to this dance.
If we share a song together,
will we also share romance?
There's not much here to choose from,
the pairs have all been made.
The bands been very lively,
but the fast songs have been played.
Chorus
So , slow the music down a bit,
this might be my last chance.
To wrap my arms around you.
Please play just one slow dance.
Please play just one slow dance.
All the girls have drank a lot.
The married one, she's gone home.
I think Im lookin' pretty good,
but I wish I had a comb.
And when this song is over,
Let me buy you one more drink.
Then take you home and tuck you in.
I can still drive ,,,, I think.
Ya , I still can drive I think.
Chorus
