	Story Behind the Song This is my first release, an as such, I'll tell the whole story behind it. On one side, this song was originally written for a girl I knew who was this constant flutter of energy, and the melodic elements convey (at least to me) what she was like to be around; intense, relentless, full of energy... From a theoretical viewpoint, I wanted to create a feel of time being a constant, but at the some time somewhat undefinable. The time meter I use, 10/4, allows me to create that feeling. Another strong motive present is the use of minimalism, the re-use of a theme. It starts out simply, builds using the same theme and a few variations, and ultimately simplifis and resolves to the base elements of that theme. From a technical stad, I wrote the entire thing in about 4 days while acting as a dorm advisor at a youth camp on my PowerBook G3 1998 using Finale 3.7. I then took it into the studio as a MIDI file, and added a few effects and other fun stuff.
