Story Behind the Song
The lyrics
come from a girl I knew who told me that
"Labels are for jars, and people aren't
jars", but some people might as well be
jars, and they need a label. I always
give people initial respect, but some
quickly let me know that that's a mistake.
Lyrics
I know you but you don't know me
I can see it in your eyes
An arrogant and presumptious statement
but you'd be suprised
I have learned to observe you
Every day
And I'll the while you continue to offend
cuz what's insie me, you can't comprehend
I know a secret, but please don't tell,
If you observe your enemies, their facade won't sell
you can bring them down, for who they are
expliot their fears, label a jar.
