	Story Behind the Song Around Christmas time a few years ago, I was flat broke, and had nothing to give to my family for Christmas. At about 3am one morning, I was playing my guitar, and this song just flew out of me. For me it is special in two ways. First, that it is written for my niece, Samantha, and it is a gift she can cherish for a lifetime. Second, it is a song, that expresses not only my emotions for my family, but the sentiment that we all too easily forget the spirit and love that holidays bring once they have passed.
