Lyrics
THE SWAN AND THE REED
A pasture lake, one such as these
placid glad amongst the trees
A peaceful wake on the surface tease
makes me wonder of days like these
The swan swims gently,
gracefully shes at ease
Flowing freely, the places that be
every cove things to see
The sun shines and pleases her sight
as the night comforts her right
A playful child, feathers glow with the light
determined spirit, character her might
The reed sways in the breeze
deeply rooted, reaching the trees
Strong and stable bending with a sigh
never to break but sensitive to cry
Having grown straight and true
protected him from rains through
Gentle and innocent he remains too
building one and really wanting two
The swan and reed finally meet
looking at you, looking at me
Wondering what will be, the feelings we made
let us be calm and flow as the glad
