Bach's work is for solo flute with harpsichord, but his counterpoint is so rich that I have always "heard" a third line in it for a second wind instrument. I have added no material here but rearranged melody lines to create a flute/oboe duet.
    Credits: Johann Sebastian Bach

    Story Behind the Song
The oboe and flute play in unison for the first 40 seconds so that the piece sounds as Bach wrote it. When the theme is repeated, the instruments diverge and the oboe plays a separate line (carved out of the harpsichord part.)

Midi-realized instrumentation. Ornamentation as indicated by Bach.
