	The first movement of a sonata for harpsichord and recorder by an interesting and relatively neglected Baroque composer, Jean Baptiste Loeillet(Belgian,1680-1730).

	Story Behind the Song I sequenced this piece in midi from a figured bass, using suggestions for its realization by a famed recorder player, Carl F. Dolmetsch.He also suggested the ornamentation I used in the recorder part. I am fascinated by Loeillet's style, which has more in common with French harpsichord music than, say, Telemann or Handel. I do not have a score for the rest of the Sonata but am searching for it to complete the work in the future.
