	Story Behind the Song The world has been ending since it started, and there is little we can do to change our mortality except share as much as we can with each other while we're here. The music started with a riff that Paul wrote, then we built on the anxiety of the turning of the calendar. The lyrics came from a little obvious optimism for the simplicity of our basic biology.
