    Story Behind the Song
This is a special song to me because it's the first song I wrote. As a Marine Mammal Trainer I have been able to develop very close relationships with many different whales and dolphins, including my favorites, the killer whales.
One day while out surfing I had the pleasure of seeing a pod of dolphins riding the waves. I thought to myself, how lucky they are to live such a carefree life in the oceans, while we're here stressing over traffic jams, crowded malls and the persuit of the mighty dollar.
It may just look like water, but the beauty of the earth lies beneath the ocean.
So "lets pull our heads out of the sand and put it under THE SEA".

    Lyrics
    THE SEA
    VERSE 1

There's something about the sea. It always seem to calm me with it's hidden mysteries. It's secrets lie beneath the deep blue waters.

    VERSE 2

There's something about the sea. It's colors come to life so magically. I wish I could take you with me and we'd live in this land called the sea.

    CHORUS

Dolphin's ride, ridin' the waves with their friends. see them fly, next to the sailors intending to find the peace the seas have to offer.
Dolphins glide out in the open sea in the quit of the night you'll hear then sining their songs, smiles like a child, innocent souls.
Do they know how lucky they are to be forever a part of the sea.

    VERSE III

A salior's life appeals to me. Easy talking words and simple melodies. All the beauty of the world is there beath your feet.

    VERSE IV

Waking to the rays of the sun. No such thing as time, don't even have a watch on. Going about life as free as my friends that live in the sea.

    CHORUS (repeat)

    CHORUS (repeat)

Do they know how lucky they are to be forever a part of the sea.
Do they know how lucky they are to be forever a part of the sea.
