Story Behind the Song
Inspired by Maria Schrader's role as Fanny Fink, an amazingly dark character whose waxing and waning in the pursuit of romance is my favourite film of all time "Keiner liebt mich" (German Nobody Loves Me.) As this longer work illustrates with contrast, the beautiful melodic longing for romance and the dark and twisted transformation of it. Halb voll und halb leer!
