	Story Behind the Song Lead singer Rich Lingenfelder played a couple short guitar licks, and sang a rough chorus for manager Tim Drozinski in the summer of 1997. Words immediately formed in Tim's mind, and he got a bit of it on tape. Later that night, listening to an endless loop of a few bars and a chorus line, he finalized the lyrics. A few weeks later, he was amazed to hear the song at a practice session. The raw emotion was unbelievable, and even in a rough form it was probably one of the best songs Double Cross had yet produced. It was no surprise that it soon became a favorite at live performances, and was included in the track list for the upcoming CD.
