Funky title track of Matt's new album. The wah guitar and clavinet battle it out and veteran singer/songwriter Tim Rose (Hey Joe / Morning Dew) contributes a laconic spoken part. |

Story Behind the Song
A light funk workout loosely based on Stevie Wonders Superstition. A song borne from frustration, injustice and just wanting to get on and do what you do. I wanted the spoken part to be recorded by someone with a laconic, droll sound to his voice and Tim (Rose) knew exactly what was required. It was a difficult part for him to execute, as there are a lot of words to fit into a short space of time, but he did an excellent job. The song became the title track for the album upon consultation with keyboard player Richard Cardwell, a trusted member of the entouragethanks Rich!
