This one has a sort of "dreamy" sound to it, with an edge. Check out the AM radio sound in the beginning. | MP3.com CD: EP sampler - buy it!

Story Behind the Song
The writing process for this one was a little different. Cindy wrote the music for the verses and I wrote the lyrics and the music for the chorus. People all have their own interpretation of what they think the song is about. But to be honest, I wasn't writing about anything in paticular. I was just going for a sarcastic kind of feeling.
I love the guitar sound I got between the 1st chorus and the 2nd verse. I just used a regular slide and layered a bunch of takes together. It sounds like a bunch of e-bowed guitars.
Lyrics
When I see you smile
It's like when the junk sets in
Can't you stay for awhile?
When the front hall light's on,
And no one's home
The strains of my mind are not for you to analyze
Full feeling, so appealing,
When you treat me like you do,
No healing, so revealing,
When you suffer like I do,
Now kiss me
