	THE FIRST PART OF THIS SONG`S MELODY (MOONRISE} IS BUILT TO A CRESCENDO BY A VARIATION OF AN ELECTRIC PIANO CALLED SHIRAKAWA, BACKED BY AN ACOUSTIC BASS AND SIMPLE DRUM SEQUENCE. THE SECOND PART IS LED BY A JAZZ GUITAR, WITH A MORE DRIVING BASS, TREMOLO STRINGS, AND A TWIN DISTORTION GUITAR AT THE END. THIS SONG WAS TOTALLY COMPOSED USING MY MIDI SOFTWARE AND INSTRUMENTS, AND THE NOTES FOR EACH INSTUMENT WERE RECORDED USING STEP-ENTRY.

	Story Behind the Song WHILE RECALLING AN OLD JEFFERSON STARSHIP ALBUM CALLED "SUNFIGHTER", I CAME UP WITH THE OPENING PORTAMENTO SWING EFFECT USING A DISTORTION GUITAR VOICE. OVER THE COURSE OF A FEW DAYS THIS SONG DEVELOPED INTO BEING NEARLY COMPLETE. THAT WAS OVER A YEAR AGO. EARLY MARCH OF 2000 I WENT BACK INTO THE SONG TO ADD JAZZ GUITAR NOTES TO THE "sunrise" SEGMENT OF THE SONG AND AM NOW SATISFIED WITH THIS AS A COMPLETED PROJECT.
