"Living In Tupperware" | genre: Pop | |

Lyrically better than New Year's Resolution, but musically doesn't beat it. A song insprired by my parents, who never throw anything out, and my friend Anne who just said it out of the blue one day. It seemed to fit so well with my life. | MP3.com CD: Road Trip Through Europe SE - buy it!

Story Behind the Song
Written in 1996, recorded in 1997 with the use of 4 guitar tracks. This was before I learned how to mic a piano. My favorite part about this song is that my friends like to jump in on the backing vocals during practice, they know them by heart, and insist on proudly boasting that.
Lyrics
I'm living in Tupperware
I just wish-they'd let out-some air
'Cause I'm sick of being vacuum packed
Underneath this pat-ten-ted burp cap
I'm living in Tupperware
I dream of the day that I'll be free
'Cause I've lost my usefulness
In the back of the fridge is where you'll find me
BRIDGE:
I'm not the same little casserole that I used to be
The other Tupperware kids laugh and tease
But they have no freedom fears
They're so glad I hear them cheer
But I've been here for years
Yeah, I've been here for years
I've turned green with envy
Still they don't-seem to see
That I'm living in Tupperware
And all I want is to be free
I'm living in Tupperware
And I've been here for years
Yeah I've been here for years
