    Story Behind the Song
It was written on a beach and took ten minutes to write, but 4 years to finish recording.
What motivated me to write it was a dark, cloudy foggy morning that turned out to be a beatiful sunny day.
The circumstances made me look at myself and think no matter what happens, its better to try to be optimistic about my outlook.
As sure as there is an up, there is also a down. The musicians laid it down in one track. It took me two takes and it was the second time I was in
    a recording studio.

    Lyrics
1st verse. Hey Mr. Weatherman give me the news
make it a sunny forecast cause I've got the blues.
Staring in at the overcast day, time going by
Must be a better way. The days are going faster as the summer goes by
same is true about life and I can't tell you why?
    Chorus:
    But I'm doing alright, I'm doing O.K.
When you wake up to a Gray Misty Morning
Hate feeling that way without any warning
    2nd verse
Ain't seen my baby in a week or two
sitting by the telephone got nothing better to do
She told me that she don't need me no more, she stormed out
    then she slammed the door.

    chorus:
