A moderate tempo, melodic tune showing some classic rock stylings along the lines of Chicago, Steely Dan and Yes. The melodic, harmonized guitar riff dominates the verses, while the catchy vocal harmonies take charge of the choruses. But the bridge is the real sweet point of the song, starting with a simple driving piano and drum rhythm, which builds into a ripping guitar solo. And the ending of the song just oozes 70's progressive rock. Give this one a listen: We're sure it'll grow on you big-time.

    Story Behind the Song
Every so often, Eddie comes up with a real gem. This is one of those times. Capturing moments and feelings from his own life, this song is a true statement of someone's questioning their own place in the world. There's an underlying sadness, but that's what makes it so real and relevant to all of us.

    Lyrics
    Gazing out the window

    Moonlight stings my eyes

    Feel no thread of dignity

My lifes just a bunch of lies

    My sense of paranoia

    Is on the evening news

You cant blame a guy for dreaming

Its hard to fill these shoes

    Remember passing notes in class

Remember that chapter from your past

(Chorus) You cant be what you wanted

You cant be who you should

You have no choice but to keep on going

    You only wish you could

    Born underneath the same sign

But you knew it wouldnt last

Well this is who I am

and I cant forget the past

I made some promises I couldnt keep

Well I have fallen in too deep

    (chorus)

    (bridge)

    (chorus)
