	Story Behind the Song Lou is about a very dear friend whom Ive known since we was 13. He is one of my favorite people in all the whole wide world and I love him dearly. Hes also alive and well. He really did, however, climb up to the top to the railing of the balcony and he really did jump off. But he was ok, he caught the rail at just the last instant and hung there flailing like fool, as well he should. It was one of the most frightening and amazing things Id ever seen. Then I risked my life by touching and saying hello to an elephant. I was with the model and the car salesmen who said jism all the time. She loved him though; she fit right in his back pocket. They taught him all the rules to living a lie. They pumped him up with pretty little candy and I swore that time it was going to be good bye. I saw LOU LEAVE the office of the shaman, he had this funny look in his eye, they pat him on the back and they sent him on his way and I swore that time it was going to be good bye. I turned my back, I walked away, I watched my friend start to decay. I closed my eyes, I refused to see while by best friend called out to me. LOU'S GOT a dick like an elephant. He's not a man who's afraid to cry, but when five years became an instant I swore that time it was going to be good bye. LOU PUT his head through a windshield. It didn't kill him, God only knows why, but when the fear became sweeter than ice cream I swore that time it was going to be good bye. LOU PUT his baggy pants on, he's got a wingtip on the size of a pie, He climbed up top to the railing of the balcony and that's when Lou said good bye. I turned my back, I walked away, I watched my friend start to decay. I closed my eyes, I refused to see while by best friend called out to me. I called him an idiot, I called him a fool, I watched my friend go down in the pool. I watched him scream, I heard him cry, it took fifteen years to watch my best friend die.
