	Story Behind the Song The music was written both by Shyam Srinivas and Tony Varas in Irvine and San Diego in 1998. The end jam section was created spontaneously by Shyam, Ron, & Neal one evening while jamming on the top of a parking structure at the UC Irvine campus. The lyrics are about a trip Shyam took to and through Epping Forest outside of London, the locale for Peter Gabriel in the legendary Genesis song "The Battle of Epping Forest" Lyrics Epping Ducking under branches, all alone on the trail Listening to the music, gave me shivers to my tail. It’s the trek through Epping Forest with no map or Battle. A ray of light hit me, through the leaves to my face It was the sound of a child, running to his mom’s embrace.
