	Story Behind the Song Back in the days of punk rock yore, there was a Sex Pistols-type band from Santa Barbara called the Rotters. They really sounded like the Pistols, complete with simulated British accents and everything. Their greatest hit was a song called, "Sit On My Face, Stevie Nicks" It was a love song, and managed to be both tender and disgustingly offensive at the same time. This classic was the inspiration for "Courtney". Courtney Love is such a nice sounding name. It's surprising there aren't more songs about her.
