	Story Behind the Song For two guitars (midi realized). A rag with traces of the blues. Part of my guitar suite, New Orleans Postcards. I grew up in New Orleans and my Dad played guitar and mandoline in a jazz string band (that had been around since the 1920's)for fun. Back porch music with the scent of the sweet olive tree all though the spring and early summer.This is my own composition.I tried to retain the improvised quality of this kind of music where one player takes off from the other's playing but both follow the 12-bar blues pattern.) Believe me, it's easier to write Baroque counterpoint than some of this!
