	Story Behind the Song We were just sitting around at the rehearsal room one night and this riff just popped out. We kinda forgot about it, until later when Rob (our bass player) brought it back up again. We messed around with it for a few minutes....and there you have it. It was a real easy song to write for us. Very natural. The lyrics...the story behind them is simple. I usually write depressing lyrics. The subject matter always seems to be about some sort of conflict, whether it be personal, relationship-based, etc. This song had a different feel to it so I wanted to write something more positive. So basically the lyrics are just about being happy to be alive and not letting anyone get you down. Very simple, but they fit the song perfectly. The song has good energy and we almost always open our shows with this song now because it gets us in a good mood.
