	Story Behind the Song This song was inspired by one of the many waitresses I met while on the road. It was written around 1989 on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. It was one of those rare songs that was written in the space of an hour and recorded over the span of several weeks using "side men" Mike Ault and Patrick Smith.
