	Story Behind the Song The song lyrics were inspired slightly by Anastasia joking to me by saying "somebody help me" because she has been waiting so long to get over here. But what really kicked in the theme was watching VH1 behind the music. I saw the show on the red hot chili peppers. At one point, the guitarist who was kicked out for a few years, was on a serious drug heroin binge, and the whole band thought he was going to die. They expected him to die. He cleaned up and went back to the band, and when he was interviewed about it, his exact words were he knew "no one would help him except himself." The rest of the lyrics: I always wanted to write something that started with "Mama" like the song "Mama Said." And the idea from Freddie Mercury that said "mama I just killed a man" from Bohemian rhapsody. This is where all the mama stuff came from. The last mama line came from Danny Bonaduce. Again from VH1 he was explaining about his drug life and sex life and at the end, he said "But I would do it again" The little girl being struck by lightning is true, I knew a little girl who died from lightning. The Mother poisoning her child is from real news stories. And also the stepfather abuse. My vision is all this stuff is happening perhaps everyday, and then the family next door is praying to God. A diversity of life styles. The goal of the tune is that you must choose your own life, or that you can choose your own life. Deep huh??? :)) Plus I decided that a dark song, people will listen closely to the words, like a car accident on the highway stopping or slowing down to see the tragedy. People like tragedy.
