    Story Behind the Song
Ritch Kerns wrote a short story with some weird images and Tim Fox took the story and made it into lyrics. Wil Robinson wrote the music progression, Ritch orchestrated instrumentation etc. and The Sticking Straight Ups arranged the music, etc. We recorded half in Ohio, Ritch by himself...then sent it back to Los Angeles where Tim and Wil put the final touches on.
It was written on Brown St. in Dayton, Ohio. it took a while.....several weeks to write. 4-track etc.

    Lyrics
    Loose

again i move and find myself in building/
men eat candles in the doorway/
the campfire is a piece of paper that can't be read/
they whisper "technography" and stand by it/

the duck is dressed up like a crying
baby/ you girls live in wolf suits
    thinking of the ducks

in the valley now the apostles light the fire/creatures eat the leaves while the children skitter in the forest/
horses aproach my position and turn into/
    butterflies scattering like fireworks/

the duck is dressed up like a crying
baby/ young girls live in wolf suites
    thinking of the ducks/

as a mannequin bounces i hear her vanish/
imagines grow sideway out of her arms
again i find myself used to it/
looking at the world for all she is worth
