	Story Behind the Song Just read the lyrics, and youll know I was a peculiar child. I'd stay up all night worrying about the state & fate of mankind. In college, I was assigned to read "Waiting for Godot." Gogo, a character from the story, spent the entire time from the beginning to the ending of the book waiting for Godot (another character which some people say symbolizes God). It irritated the hell out of me that he'd just sit there and anxiously wait & wait & wait - doing nothing, being nothing. I realized that in so many ways we all wait for that "saving hand of grace" to make things good, make our life alright, make our life complete. The truth is we are responsible for our own lives & for each other. We each share the golden opportunity to make life the masterpiece we all dream it to be. For some Godot (God), may or may not exist. Whatever the case, there is nothing else to do in this life than to use every moment & experience as a declaration of WHO WE ARE, WHO YOU ARE, & WHO I AM.
