Story Behind the Song
The motivation for the song was too write something that rocked and had three solos. Hehehe. So the whole song was just music to start with and then when it came to adding lyrics, I used lyrics from another song that I'd wrote, recorded and scrapped. The lyrics seemed to fit well and I liked the overall sound.
Lyrics
VERSE 1
Don't you know today is tomorrow?
And left is right and we're all wrong?
Confusion and delusion is madness yeah.
I don't know why i'm singing this song.
VERSE 2
Looking out the back of a front seat,
Into the mist of a clear sky.
Don't know what to think, yeah.
Life just seems to pass me by.
BRIDGE
You never knew who who
You never knew...
CHORUS
Just what to expect from me
Thinking things that shouldn't be thought,
In a mind thats clutter-free of junk.
Taking the time to work it all out, yeah.
You're a ship; not long til' you're sunk.
BRIDGE
CHORUS
BREAKDOWN (that never built back up again!)
