An overflow of angry distortion, lyrical attitude, and a breakneck bassline. The final moments in this musical epic can be described as simply breathtaking.

    Story Behind the Song
This was an experiment to see how far we could go with a simple chord progression. This was our break through song as far as guitar effects were concerned. Still, the heart of the song lies in the energy with which it is played. Lyrically, we cover a lot of issues, but the song talks about medicated confidence and the resulting chasm between who we think we are and reality.

    Lyrics
Superman on a bike, and he's falling over. Nothing special at all.
President on a bus, and she's going nowhere.
We're all just left so small.

I'm feeling quite alright, as though i've conquered my fate.
It's freedom ringing out, so what should you say?
Claim you got the glow. Fake the way it floats you away and laugh out loud with me.

Wooden stripes on a post, and he's going somewhere cos he just can't belong.
I saw his mind on his back. Left the scene for a second, so we missed his last fall.

Can't hold down all these feelings. Even though there's time by my side.
Can't you see it's me left out there? I'm the one who turned out the lights.

    -chorus

All these thoughts are so misleading, and the world's not even mine.
and it's losing its space, its rank, and its place.
    Gonna fly high Smile wide
Slide glide shine live and lie.
