	Story Behind the Song All of the performers came into the studio having never played with one another as a group. Brooks set the foundation with the guitar and the other musicians vamped their parts. The musicians had only a little practice playing along to an advanced copy of the melody Brooks had recorded on his mother's karaoke machine. From start to finish the musicians solidified their parts and recorded the track in less than three hours.
