    Story Behind the Song
The song was written just after the L.A. riots. There were U.S. Marshalls up and down our street pointing guns and yelling at everyone. On my way to work this guy in a gas mask pointed an m17 at me. This song is a reaction to the moment in time when I realized the farce government can be.

    Lyrics
    Open up the window
    Let in some air
    Blue bird was singing, everywhere
    Looked in the mirror
    brushed my hair.
    'cause it's a new day
    in the rocking chair
Gonna rock my blues, blues away
    'cause it's a masquerade
    behind the shades
    Gonna rock my blues away
We all work hard, we all get paid, etc.
