	very different from our usual sound... experimented with our old punk favourite, TOASTED, (first song we wrote together) and came up with the 'Alien Abduction Version' of it... still maintaining a lot of it's punk qualities...

	Story Behind the Song Toasted was... a school assignment. We formed because of this factor... QUALM had to write a non-offensive song, suitable for a very general audience. No references to drugs, alcohol, substances, death, religion, beliefs........ WHAT THE HELL WERE WE SUPPOSED TO WRITE? This song is a mockery of our music teacher, written as non-offensive, yet offensive as possible. Don't worry most of our other stuff is real.. :) This was recorded at school on a 4 track recorder, so the sound quality isn't the greatest... we were only allowed time to do one song on that... and of course we had to experiment :) So it's QUALM in disguise. Basically all parts were done in one take. So there ya go. We're expecting to have more demo tracks by March/April 2000, perhaps earlier. But for now, enjoy the sounds!
