Story Behind the Song
This song is motivated by the crap you hear on the radio.
The same old shit, day after day.
When R.A.F.R wanted us to do a song for the comp. I sent Martin this demo, and he dug it.
So we went to a school, with Sean from the Toilet Boys, and recorded this song in a couple of hours with a couple of students who heardly no anything about recording.
So under crapping conditions, we recorded a song about the crappy conditions of radio, MTV, and just about all media that turned it into a disney type institution.
Lyrics
We never listen to the radio.
They dont play no punk rock-n-roll.
They play dance trax.
Man thats whack.
White boys, wanna be black.
Leave the bubblegum, for the little girls.
Cause in New York City, we get down to the nitty gritty.
Pop is for fags.
And every time I hear that song I gag.
Pop is for fags.
Love songs are such a drag.
Pop is for fags.
And every time I hear that song I gag.
Once more for the brothers into harecore!
We never get to see a video.
They just play those stupid old shows,
like the real world ,with ugly girls.
Once in a blue moon they play you a tune .
But its always the same old song.
And in New York City we wanna see somrthing different.
