Story Behind the Song
Harleys and those who rode them played a major role in the mountain riff-raff society on the east side of the Sandia Mountains just east of Albuquerque during the '80s and early '90s. Long time friend and biker, Ger Bornmann gave Dick Stewart the inspiration for this tune. Says Stewart, "Ger is the original Riff-Raff Ryder and the vocabulary on this song is his as well as the attitude."
