Story Behind the Song
This song was recorded on New Year's Eve (technically New Years Day) at 1:30 a.m. Rob Darke (IRONY, Chaotic Discourse, etc) plays the guitar on this track.
The song was recorded in a very improvisational manner. Alexis had never heard the song, let alone a melody, etc. She had absolutely no time to prepare. A play book was put in front of her, and she sang from it (Saturday's Voyeur - Zoodoo Voodoo Follies), using the "Our Favorite Quotes" section which was a humorous look at the whole Olympics/Salt Lake scandal. For more information, see the song lyrics.
