Story Behind the Song
When the sun is out and shining, and it is really hot - dont you feel like eating an ice cream then? And when the oil bubbles beneath your feat, or better yet, imagine yourself bathing in oil. And Im talking the thick and black kind. What if you were swimming around in a big tank of that stuff?
In the Jungian theory of the collective subconscious, the sun plays a very important role. Did you know that? Its like a god. But where is the oil, that is the question. Jung was a Nazi, wasnt he?
In the Gulf wars Saddam was evil, and the CNN reported all the air strikes and so on. The oil was right there, wasnt it? But where is the sun. It was certainly up in the sky, it is hot in the arab countries. Scorching heat. And the oil, what was the real purpose of the strikes and just how did it turn out. Did the water get dirty?
Lyrics
It is nothin but the sun - Wooo - so keep cool. Yes.
The Sun, The Sun, The Sun.
