About drinking in the woods, this song explores the darker side of a weekend party.
    Credits: Andrew Stoeten

    Story Behind the Song
    Brian's thoughts:
Andrew keeps his lyrical content to himself but my interpretation is that he wrote this song after walking home from a party we were all at. He meet up with a man who had also just been at a party and had beat up the host and was all covered in blood.

    ANDREW'S RESPONSE:
actually, that's a different song which Brian has described. This one is really about drinking in the woods and being drunk at a playground where i drunkenly decided to go down a slide head first. The second verse makes reference to some of our friends trying to throw their empty bottles onto a large rock. Not a particularly good story, but at a time when you're pressed for lyrics you often have to take whatever you come up with.

    Brian's responce:
Well that kinda sucks all the mystery out of it. People don't need to know how useless we were, and I never threw any bottles either. Please keep our forest areas clean ... for everyones sake!

    Lyrics
    I think i'm loaded
    and i'm not alone
    constellation spinning
    frozen to the bone

    glass and granite
    colliding in the night
    lights make for shaking
    planned out just right

    blood on my hands
    and i'm on the ground
    sixteen bottles left
of the joy i have found
