Story Behind the Song
It is about looking at how we behave towards each other and our progression and evolution
through the ages of human intentions.
The song took 3 weeks to write and 3 months to complete.
Lyrics
A gazillion years ago we looked just like a monkey, A gazillion years from now we'll be looking pretty funky. Wild things lose it with the tame, and tame things lose it in the wild. Here come the rain. Here comes the rain, Bring on the rain. Pour down on me. Come and see the rain.
You simply put a hole in a person and they don't work no more. As soon as you put your finger on it, it becomes something else. We're all in the web of the human dilemma. What we want to say is, VIOLENT PEOPLE SUCK. (Chorus)
A wise man said, "Don't you know it's gonna be alright." Another one said, "It's better to burn out than to rust." What is your religion? "When I do good I feel good; when I do bad I feel bad...." Abraham Lincoln Said that. (Chorus)
A gazillion years ago we looked just like a monkey, A gazillion years from now we'll be looking pretty funky.
