    Story Behind the Song
i lived with a young lady for a year. she opened my eyes to several experiences in this wonderful game that we call life. unfortunately she turned out to be CRAZY!!! she will always be referred to as psycho kelly. she and her wacked out twin sister controlled my life for too long. how you ask? she had this killer body, THAT'S HOW!! immature & shallow you say? yes, but once again let's consider the source. me= 30 & single. marriage to her would have been utter hell. marriage is about compromise not concession. thanks kim & kelly for teaching me that. enjoy drunkside.

    Lyrics
i guess i never thought too much about it
when did you first slip out my door
i must have been dreaming as you worried all about it
don't make a sound till you get home
    laughter fading away
    you finally hit the outside
    smile and close your eyes
for tomorrow will never see today
tripping on the cracks in the sidewalk
    under the moon's watchful eye
    stumble for the words
    my frustration surrounds me
at least i've still got cabfare home
    laughter fading away
    you finally hit the outside
    smile and close your eyes
for tomorrow will never see today
i guess i'll always think too much about it
when did the leaves fade to gold
it's just another night on the drunkside
    27 looking down
    laughter fading away
    you finally hit the outside
    smile and close your eyes
for tomorrow will never see today
for tomorrow will never see today
