Story Behind the Song
Synister Blues is a new version of an old Spliffs' song written in th 1980's. In no way is it an 80's song, though, so keep reading. We've added horns, powerful drums, and screaming guitars to this tune about the bulls%#t of a normal work day. We started re-vamping the song shortly before our recording session at Walls Have Ears studios in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The finishing touches were actually figured out in the studio, which gives the song it's spontaneity and drive.
