Story Behind the Song
This song was created when Alwiyah wanted to add a cane dance and I had just gotten a mizmar. The mizmar has a reeded mouthpiece and wooden horn (see song icon). The band had been playing the Saiidi rhythm privately for some time. With 'Raks Al Assaya' it all came together in this joyous cane dance.
