	Story Behind the Song This song was written a couple of years back..The CD it was on is now out of print. This song is about escaping from the clutches of capitalist society and all it entails. Including racism, sexism, xenophobia, and cultural genocide. Maintaining our culture and basically rebelling being what will make our families and communities continue to flourish. The song starts out with a sound bite (in Spanish) of Subcomandante Marcos of Mexico's Zapatista National Liberation Army talking about why they decided to rise up against the Mexican government. Lyrics "We rose against the Power in 1994 precicely when the ecstasy or climax of the globalization process was being celebrated.
