A dark moody love song.. go figure... |
CD: Hurricane EP
Label: the green Infinity
Credits: Dominic Gittens |
Story Behind the Song
This song was actually banned from Barbadian radio, shortly after its release. It was to be used as the spearhead of our entire ad campaign so that we could raise funds and public awareness of the band. Ooops. because of one line, the song was banned as negative:
"just like needles in my veins,
just like sweet cocoaine.."
Bummer. Anyway, enpough with Barbados.. time to move on...
Lyrics
Dead roses at the side of my grave
with the pungent smell opf my name,
and dreamin f oyou is like condemning myself
and wanting you is like playing with myself
she walks into the black room
taking off hewr name
she walks into the bedroom,
silence is her game
shadows sliding over me
she tells me she's going to teach me
how to sin
she walks into the bedroom
she's gotten under my skin
just like needles in my veins,
just like sweet, sweet cociane
just like dead roses on my grave
just like the pungent smell of my name
dreaming of you
wanting you.. oh
shadows sliding over me
she tells me she's going to teach me
how to sin
she walks into the bedroom
she's gotten under my skin
just like needles in my veins,
just like sweet, sweet cociane
just like dead roses on my grave
just like the pungent smell of my name
