Story Behind the Song
In theory, the war march of the wiccans if they were a war-like culture. It is a spiteful piece to numb ones emotions to. That all people are held accountable for their actons be they good or bad.
It was written in the living area of Lord Goth's home. As the lyrics were already written, the music took about 5 minutes to write. It took about 8 minutes to record the entire song.
We recorded it in roughly 4-7 takes.
Lyrics
SASNAKRA, THARTHAR, THAMARU, MOMMON, BETOS, OPRANU...
Sons of gods and daughters of men;
Begat an unholy union;
And on the eve that they were wed;
Their lust summmoned the souls of he dead...
They gave birth to giants in the earth;
They bred with unconditional hate;
Hate you could feel,
and hate you could smell;
The hate that opened the gate:
TYRANT!!!
Prince of Worms
TYRANT!!!
Lord of Thieves
TYRANT!!!
Prince of Liars
You condemn them
that don't believe...
Open up to the blackness;
A stain you call a soul;
A heart not made for loving;
Evil your only goal;
In the dark cellars of your mind;
You look for answers, never found;
From your wrists run blood;
As you draw the crucifix on the ground;
repeat chorus
Death's unholy shroud covers;
The cancer of your mind;
Inspired by the dark;
You're of the evil kind;
The poison of eternal damnation;
Is the drink you take;
Cursed, like a rabid dog,
chained to a burning lake;
repeat chorus
"I stand at the frayed edge of society...chaos swirls about me as I am
the witness to the end of mankind, and...I...smile."
