	Story Behind the Song Back in Highschool, Jason was in love with a girl, but she only wanted to date him when she didn't have a more popular guy to date. This inspired us to write a song about a fictional guy named Jeff who has the same sort of situation. We also thought of someone else who is in this situation-- Jesus Christ. Just like the girl only goes to Jeff when she can't find a more popular guy, we only go to God when we can't find something more instantly gratifying here on earth.
