	Story Behind the Song I noticed a cute blonde girl with Bo Derek braides dressed in hip-hop garb walking past my apartment one day. She lived across the pool from me. She was the newest addition to our "Melrose Place" style apartment building, full of kids in their 20's fresh from somewhere else. I only caught sight of her as she walked past me (hiding behind the blinds of my sliding glass door). The inner dialoge that starts! "She's gonna be stuck up, and reject my attempts at conversation." I decide that our relationship is over even before it begins! Without ever saying "Hello" I want to say goodbye, because I would'nt be able to take the rejection. TOO SELF-CONCIOUS! It so turns out that we become friends for real....and she wAs a Hip-Hop dancer!.. mabye still is. I wonder were she is now. Recorded in Studio City, California in 1995 with a 1984 Tascam Porta One Four track . Using the drum track from a completely different song "Are you so Afraid". If you listen closely to the cd version you can hear the drummer (Dave Huang) say.." I've never heard that song in my entire life"!
