	Story Behind the Song This song is based on the persecution that Joseph Smith receives when he tells people that he saw a vision. Lyrics Why don't they believe me, for what I've said is true. They don't believe me though I've onlyu told them what I know. Talked to the people all over this town, but they only answere with a frown, they tell me that I'm knot where I should be. That I should be home with my family, with my family. Surely these men are much wiser that I, at times my frustration makes me cry.
