Story Behind the Song
life, sometimes you get what you want and can't handle it, lyric written mostly in the Sonoran Desert one afternoon (1st verse in my front room 11 years later), music in the front room/studio 11 yrs later, demoed in a couple of hrs, recorded with three other songs over a couple of days
Lyrics
END OVER END
days
racing from the past
one day there was you
looked me in the eye
days
lying in the grass
off we go into
staring at the sky
play
will you make the play
here's my sweetest swing
sending you the deep fly
do try
star
grant my wantest wish
see you flowing white
brightly smiling
church bells clanging
tin cans tumbling
end over end...
