Story Behind the Song
This tune came to me in a rush. I consider it to be one of the finest things that I have ever written! It was very easy to record, and came together very quickly.
Lyrics
Elephant's ear, with a bucket of beer
Don't you wonder why they got to roam
Lookit the ants they're wearing my pants
Somebody answer the phone
Lookit the log, it's wearing a hog
The bride walks with the groom
Over there, you can see the mare,
Red blue green, octopus bloom
One of a kind, the bat it's blind
Make him go up to his room
Out of the stairs, it's not aware
Running straight line towards his doom
Listen to me, why don't you see
A handful of the bear
Out of the bloom, and a polka tune
My dog's got nothing to wear
Velvet twilight home
There's something grown
I'm going home
There's nothing gone
Outta your pants, doncha make a stance
Won't you walk into a wall
It's easy to drive, till you sometimes arrive
Take a listen I'll probably call
Stitches are true, and they make you rue
With the cartilage in the snow
Munchin' the wax, while receiving a fax
Hurry up, wait, don't you know
The vine it's green, and the monk it seems
Polycarbonate over here
Frozen pond and a magic wand
Make him follow forty deer
Rufis, please and a sparrow sneeze
And a whopping foot of glow
Some kind of shoe and a bucket of glue
And there's something that I know
Simple earthly glow
I want to know
I found my home
And I have grown.
