	Story Behind the Song We bought Beth's old drum kit for $50 but Beth was too shy to play with theShirlies so Mark sat down and played the long snare roll at the beginning and we wrote the song around that. Rich joined up a few months later, took the kit and wrote what you hear now. At the recording session of this track, Rich had for the first time a ride cymbal and a crash. Before this he used his hi hat for everything. You can hear it here. Again this was produced by Mike Santos and theShirlies. This was a very labor intesive mixdown with 3 of us pressing mutes and changing levels at different points in the song. Gotta love the computer revolution.
