	Story Behind the Song "Inner Groove" is the first original song written by Courtney and I. This song began as an open mic jam that we performed at the Southend Brewery during the summer. In fact, we called it our "Jam Song" for the longest time before settling on a real name. With the basic beat in hand, we added a part here and a part there, and tossed ideas back and forth until we had "da' funk" just right. I laid down the basic backing tracks and Courtney added the saxophone. After a couple of practice mixes, we finally had the sound that we wanted. So, turn it up, tune out, and enjoy!
